    This study explores the web traffic of four selected library websites in order to find domain authority, page authority, cPR score, trust flow, trust metric, alexa rank, spam score, global rank, internal backlink, external backlink, referring domain, edu. Backlinks, etc. and rank them based on these parameters. Google PageRank has been used for data analysis to measure the web traffic. The study found that website of the Delhi University Library System is the top website amongst the four library websites selected for the study in securing highest rank in most of the online traffic measures and values as represented by Google PageRank whereas the website of the Central Library, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has been found to be at the last among the selected library websites. The Central Library, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay have also secured top rank in two measures which are domain authority and cPR score whereas Dr.BR Ambedkar Central Library, JNU secured top rank in terms of trust flow, trust metric and Google rank.

    Purpose: Twitter is one of the most popular micro-blogging sites worldwide, with millions sharing their thoughts, opinions, and sentiments on various topics. The death of Sidhu Moose Wala, a prominent figure in India, sparked significant discussions on social media, particularly Twitter, to express their condolences, share memories, and discuss the impact of his music and persona. The study analyses the trend, geographical contribution, and opinions of the Twitter-sphere surrounding his demise. Methodology: Two hashtags, “#SidhuMooseWalaDeath and #SidhuMosseWala” were used as input terms to download the tweets. The Tweet Archiver was used to retrieve the tweets against selected hashtags. The data was retrieved for 40 days, from 05-06-2022 to 14-07-2022. A total of 5247 tweets with accompanying metadata were retrieved during the specified time frame. The location of the tweeter users was ascertained to discover the geographical distribution of tweets. Moreover, to categorize and interpret the content of tweets, the naturalistic approach was used, in which the content of each tweet was read and understood thoroughly so that the opinions related to the demise of a famous singer (Sidhu Moose Wala) could be framed. Findings: The study uncovers the daily trend of tweets and found that the majority of tweets were posted on some specific days, like on the birthday of Sidhu Moose Wala and the day on which YouTube removed a new song of deceased Sidhu Moose Wala titled SYL- named on the under-construction Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL). As for the geographical contribution of tweets, it is found that the conversation surrounding the death of Sidhu Moose Wala extends beyond borders, with the significant contribution of Tweets from India followed by Pakistan, Canada, the UK, and the USA, respectively. The content analysis of the tweets highlights that people have varied opinions regarding the death of Sidhu Moose Wala, with a majority of tweets sharing News, followed closely by the ones that express sympathy for the deceased. Moreover, Twitter users have used different terms in their tweets to share their thoughts regarding Sidhu Moose Wala’s death. The study found that the term “Sidhumoosewala” followed by “Sidhu”, “legend”, “Sidhumoosewaladeath”, and “Justiceforsidhumoosewala” are the most frequently occurring terms. Originality: The study is the first of its kind, which offers a comprehensive understanding of the Twitter sphere’s response to the death of Sidhu Moose Wala. The study showcases the multifaceted nature of opinions expressed on Twitter surrounding the death of Sidhu Moose Wala, highlighting the diverse sentiments and perspectives that emerge within this virtual space.

    The Contemporary Social Media era is not just a trend. It is an indispensable part of the fabric of modern society. The everyday life of millions of people has become entwined with social media. They depend on it to disseminate information, peruse their social networking profiles, read messages, update posts, etc. Ease of connectivity and dynamic interface has made Social Media evolve from being limited to as a media for communication to a highly specialised online platform which acts as a medium for breaking immediate news in real-time, a virtual trading place which offers online shopping abode for people, a podium for seeking a job, and a medium for displaying creativity. Though these sites are used globally by millions of people of different age groups, the teenage generation is the massive user of this technology and is very competent in using these technologies. While these digital natives are tech-savvy by virtue of being born in the era of technology and modern gadgetry, they are also a diverse group regarding their attitudes and capacities concerning the practice of digital media use. Against this backdrop, this study intended to delve into social media usage by these teenagers, focusing on possible differences between male and female teenage users. This study was conducted to look at gender-specific behaviours related to social media usage. The study involved eight Focus Group Discussions in which 32 male and 28 female participants were involved. The study provides an enhanced insight into how gender difference plays a role in teenagers’ discernment of social media use. This study aimed to research the dissimilarities in the usage of greatly evolving social media platforms and also to provide an advanced perceptive understanding of the role that gender disparity plays in the digital media age.

    Library and information science (LIS) is a growing field. The main aim and objective of the professionals working in the LIS arena is to ensure hassle-free dissemination of information to students, scholars, faculty and general users. However, in order to maintain optimum user satisfaction, it is essential to ensure the presence of highly skilled staff in such non-profit organisations. In addition, the objectives of such a service-oriented institution can be achieved if the recruited LIS professionals are motivated and highly satisfied with their profession. Job satisfaction is a state of being content towards a job or work. If the employees of an organisation are completely satisfied, it improves their overall productivity. Job satisfaction is related to many important factors for proper human resource management in an organisation. The current study explores the satisfaction level among LIS professionals working in higher education institutions in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The authors have recorded data from 40 LIS professionals working in prominent degree colleges in the region. The study attempts to determine the various factors that influence and affect the satisfaction level among LIS professionals of J&K.
